Required:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in nonprofit management, communications, business administration, public relations, or a related field.
Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible fundraising experience, with a strong emphasis on donor cultivation and stewardship, corporate sponsorships, grant administration, and event planning/execution.
Proven ability to build and sustain strategic partnerships with corporate funders, philanthropic organizations, and community stakeholders from diverse industries and backgrounds
Demonstrated success in managing and meeting a $10,000,000 fundraising target through a combination of corporate sponsorships, foundation grants, and strategic philanthropy, while consistently growing donor portfolios year over year.
Experience researching funding opportunities, drafting compelling grant proposals, and managing reporting requirements for foundation, corporate, and government grants.
Proven experience leading business partner campaigns and cause marketing initiatives that drive fundraising results.
Demonstrated ability to leverage corporate volunteerism to cultivate and convert relationships into sustained funding partnerships.
Preferred:
An advanced degree from an accredited college or university in nonprofit management, communications, business administration, public relations, or a related field.
Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible fundraising experience, with a strong emphasis on donor cultivation and stewardship, corporate sponsorships, grant administration, and event planning/execution.
Experience with government grants, contracts, and compliance.

Proficiency in public speaking and compellingly presenting complex information to a variety of audiences.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize time to set and meet goals and deadlines.
Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.

Salary is one component of Compudopt’s total compensation package, which also includes:

Full job description
Compudopt is a national non-profit organization that aims to provide technology access and education to under-resourced youth and their communities. As Compudopt continues to grow, our Director of Corporate Philanthropy will work closely with our Vice President of Development to set the fundraising and development strategy for our national organization. This role will support the philanthropy efforts at the national and site level, shape the culture for donor management and stewardship, identify, solicit, and secure gifts for national growth. This role will ensure transparent communication and storytelling to corporate funders of metrics and outcomes, as aligned with their gifts, in a compelling manner that encourages renewed support and engagement. This role is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the continental US and will require occasional weekends and travel up to 25%.
The Director of Corporate Philanthropy must act with integrity, be committed to achieving organizational goals, take responsibility for mission achievement, demonstrate accountability by starting with yes, and demonstrate the ability to inspire, grow, and motivate others.
Major Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Cultivate relationships through all corporate channels to include marketing, community impact leaders, foundation staff, and C-Suite leadership staff to successfully
secure investments at significant levels.
Cultivate, solicit, and steward existing and new corporate donors in the 6+ figure and above range.
Manage and evolve the national sponsorship program and other related initiatives.
Work collaboratively across functional teams, including Marketing, and with other relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate on the creation and implementation of the national development strategy.
Manage the giving portfolio for corporations and other grantor entities.
Collaborate with the Vice President of Development to identify major giving prospects and cultivation strategies for supporters across giving sectors.
Work with city-specific site leaders on all stages of the corporate donor cycle: prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship to increase philanthropy on a hyper-local level.
Identify corporate and other grant opportunities that align with Compudopt programs and activities, analyze internal grant reports, and develop an understanding of the criteria and priorities applicable to each grant/funder program, and pursue promising funding leads accordingly.
Utilize donor prospecting tools to conduct research on corporations for prospect activity and maintain the integrity of the data.
Help manage grant activities, funder and contractor relationships, and ensure grant compliance and accurate reporting.
Design and implement a robust stewardship calendar, ensuring regular donor touchpoints, thoughtful solicitation timing, and creative giving options.
Collaborate and lead communications regarding all development-related contributions to the website, social media, printed materials, and e-Newsletters.
Support the CEO and other Board fundraising efforts as needed.
Supervise day-to-day grant writing and operations tasks in partnership with support staff, including donor acknowledgments.
Represent Compudopt by attending and participating in external meetings and events.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
