Outstanding written and verbal communication skills as well as outstanding public speaking skills.

Position Summary:
The Foundation President, East Region has responsibility for managing operations of all philanthropic initiatives, campaigns, and programs for the Orlando Health East Region, as well as all associated organizations. This leader works closely with the Orlando Health Foundation President to develop fundraising plans and design philanthropic strategy and structure to ensure the success of future capital campaigns and funding initiatives.
The Foundation President, East Region is responsible for strategic planning, donor cultivation, donor stewardship and operations for the East Region. This includes overall administration and management of the East Region initiatives, team members, and programs including fundraising programs, fiscal management, personnel management, public relations, and any other relevant function.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for collaborating with the OHF president to develop the strategy and methodology to operate a comprehensive fundraising program designed to seek philanthropic support from all sources to support the mission and strategic initiatives of the East Region.
Provide executive leadership in the formulation of annual Foundation goals and objectives to ensure the fulfillment of the organization’s philanthropic objectives.
Develop a timeline and design and implement a fundraising plan for future capital campaigns to benefit facilities and programs across the East Region.
Oversee the implementation of an endowment development plan to ensure long-term sustainability of vital programs in the East Region.
Maintain collaborative relationships with medical staff and executive leadership of Orlando Health to maximize fundraising and communication effectiveness.
Recruit and retain talented development leaders and professionals.
Steward foundation assets to ensure donor intent is honored and funds are utilized optimally to further the mission of the organization.
Provide strategic oversight of the Foundation annual operating plan and budget, ensuring investment in productive programs and strategies to increase total philanthropic support.
Design and oversee programs to engage Philanthropy Councils in generating philanthropic support for the East Region.
Implement any additional committees or councils required to support the efforts of the East Region.
Develop capital campaign steering committees to provide leadership and oversite of volunteer-led fundraising efforts.
Develop and cultivate relationships within the community to increase awareness and knowledge of the mission and needs of the East Region.
Regularly benchmark Foundation programs and performance against nationally recognized philanthropic standards.
Maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
Maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Maintain accountability and ensure compliance with all regulations and laws, as well as the code of ethics for fundraising professionals.
Participate in continuing education to ensure best practices and innovative philanthropic strategies are considered and utilized to further the mission of the organization.
