PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF JOB

WORK ENVIRONMENT


This is a hybrid position. Primarily works in a climate-controlled office-based setting. The opportunity to work remotely two days a week is available.

About the Role
Asa member of the team, this position plays a key role in engaging and inspiring individual donors who share Trident United Way’s commitment to community impact. The role helps cultivate and deepen relationships with supporters whose investments fuel meaningful opportunities for all.
PAY


$65,000 TO 75,000

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


Essential Function 1
Raise revenue and manage fundraising program activities including but not limited to relationship strategy development, prospect identification, solicitation and engagement, proposal development, recognition and appreciation efforts as related to current, lapsed, and new major gift income sources.
Essential Function 2
Provide strategy and guidance to the Events Coordinator to plan events designed to recruit, cultivate, solicit, and/or steward leadership-level gift donors and/ qualified donor prospects through events as identified in the Advancement Plan.
Essential Function 3
Work in collaboration with Corporate Advancement Officers to identify leadership donor prospects from the workplace campaigns and create and implement engagement strategy for reaching out to these donors.
Essential Function 4
Work with the Sr. Vice President and Individual Philanthropy team to develop meaningful stewardship processes in alignment with major gift development best practices.
Essential Function 5
Work with the Sr. Vice President and Individual Philanthropy team to develop a Leadership Giving Society and Legacy Society.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES


Manage relationships with key donors, prospects and volunteer partners. Direct maintenance and tracking of major donor recognition programs and communication.
Input, track, and monitor donor touchpoints, gifts and accomplishments through Andar database and prepare required reports.
Collaborate with Communications and Advancement teams to develop consistent, powerful, and compelling fundraising messaging as it relates to major gift development materials and communications.
Bring donor thoughts and reactions back to the organization and provide constructive feedback to the Community Impact and Marketing departments.
Support interdepartmental team leaders with strategy and project management.
Support Advancement with Workplace Campaign Meetings, as requested.
Participate in TUW events (as needed) and activities demonstrating the ability to be a good colleague, proactive collaborator and team builder.
Function as an integral member of the Advancement team assisting with planning, solicitation, implementation and evaluation.
Participate as a champion, project lead, and/or member of organizational development teams as required.
Work outside normal office hours when required to include evenings or weekends and additional hours during peak times.
Complete Andar training as appropriate when offered.
